Job introduction

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our Evoqians team. As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for executing test plans to ensure the quality of our products before they are released to the market. You will collaborate with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and document software defects and ensure that they are corrected promptly.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand the project requirements, identify test plans & test conditions, design test cases and execute them correctly.
  • Create and re-evaluate bug reports.
  • Follow the testing life cycle, SDLC; use static and dynamic testing techniques and tools.
  • Perform white box and black box testing, functional and non-functional methods like Integration testing, System testing, Acceptance testing, Performance testing, Security testing, Usability testing, Compatibility testing and many more.
  • Write project summary reports on test status.
  • Collaborate with developers and the rest of the team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in manual testing for both web and mobile applications.
  • Should have practical experience in white box and black box testing.
  • Should be well-versed with at least one bug-tracking tool, ie. Bugzilla, Jira, Redmine and many more.
  • Understanding Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with automation tools like Junit, TestNG, Jmeter, or Selenium is a plus.

  • Good communication skills, verbal as well as written.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment.
  • Ability to drive project responsibilities dynamically and proactively.
